Haxhiu Kurt for tomorrow warn joint media conference

The reason and topic of this conference has not been disclosed, but in recent days Kurti and Haxhiu have been tough in their criticism of judges and prosecutors in Kosovo.

Minister Haxhiu in her Facebook post concerning the 11-year-old girl's rape in Pristina has said the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina did not act when it was reported on violations in June.

She has demanded the resignation of Pristina's chief Constitutional Prosecutor and the prosecutor in charge of the case in June.

Without the resignations and dismissals of those who did not act on time and, unfortunately, we may have other victims.”, Haxhi wrote in her post.

Kurt, in his reaction, scattered by Hadziu, asked: Where is the morality of judges and prosecutors?

He in his post, has said that the unskilled charges of prosecutors make it possible that rapists often are not punished, while according to him, courts do not judge cases of violations in accordance with laws.

He has cited the failure of the Kosovo Judiciary Council and Prosecutorial Council, while saying the state of Kosovo cannot carry the cost of non-employment and the responsibility of prosecutors and judges.

Thousands of citizens on Wednesday sought the dismissal of judges who have handed down sentences under the minimum allowed by law for cases of sexual violence, and the dismissal of prosecutors for neglect of these cases.
That same day, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu met with the chairman of the Kosovo Judiciary Council, the chairman of the Supreme Court and U.d. Chief of State. Accountability in the prosecutorial and judicial system was stressed.

Long time has become selective and uneven, whose heavy burden falls on the shoulders of the victims, mainly women and girls. Disobedience to bullies and even those who are bringing such decisions is unacceptable.
Our society and state cannot bear the cost of labour and without the responsibility of prosecutors and judges.
