“In the course of 2021, the government had realised the fee worth 962,646 euros for 199 employees (of the Serb community engaged in the Brussels Agreement) that are not identified for continued work and do not develop activities within the respective ministries” The audience report says.
According to the audience, these fees are based on the Brussels Agreement for ratification of the first international principle agreement regulating normalisation of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, respectively.
The Kosovo government, with the decision of July 22nd 2015, has approved the conclusions agreed on the break-up of the so-called “Civil Minister”, which has operated in northern Kosovo municipalities, supporting the pledges defined with these conclusions.
However, the respective ministries have placed this category of employees on the salary list before creating physical conditions/spaces for work, systems, engagement and monitoring them, making these payments irregular.
The largest number is identified in the Ministry of Environment, Space Planning and Infrastructure. /callo/
