US financially assists Kosovo Army, tools to be used in KSF transition

Financial support is high in the defence ministry, calling it a partnership reconfirmation. In an answer to Klan Kosova from this government dictatorship, the amount of resources that has been divided for the country are not yet known.

“Now we've entered the second decade of close partnership with the Iowa National Guard and this partnership for us has been the fundamental determination for all achieved so far. So even for the financial support warned by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the highest appreciation for full trust”, said Sefer Isufi, chief of Strategic Communication at the Ministry of Defence.

And money is used during the KSF's 10-year transition plan, which began in 2018.

Defence Minister Andmend Mehaj also wrote of support, calling it extraordinary motivation in protecting Euro-Atlantic values.

“In the geopolitical context and the challenges of the security environment that challenge our region, reiterate the need to establish the permanent American Force Base in our country, as a permanent guarantee of peace, security, stability and stable perspective of countries and peoples of the region, and more broadly”, Mehe said.

He said the Ministry of Defence and the Kosovo Army are incarnated and acting in sync with the strategic concept of defence and the American military doctrine of its allies.
