The news was made public in his account at “facebook”, indicating that his resignation has been handed over to RTK General Director Shkumbin Ahmetxekaj.
Resignment report!
A finding of the ZKA, which has nothing to do with my professional work, (turned into a subtle cause from specific elements), has been being exploited by the Board for months as a means of pressure on RTK's general director, to find solutions to get me out of the office of director of Television. Seeing that such a situation is struggling to push ahead with projects, and therefore reflecting on many aspects of RTK's functioning, I announce that I have handed over to the general director, Shkumbin Ahmetxej, the request for release from office, as at no cost can I allow that my professional and human integrity of overstepping.
This decision, however difficult, was necessary to pave the way for pending processes for normal RTK functioning, including the selection of RTK 1 and RTK 3.
Of course, when I took office two years ago, I was aware of the challenges and challenges of the nature of work that I managed to overcome, thanks to cooperation with all RTK workers.
It is known that this task is mandated, therefore it is understandable that I have expected to complete the three-year term, as I have launched, with dedication, honor and love of work, to leave behind a stronger and professional RTK, a RTK in public service! The successes and challenges will not be measured at the time of staying in this position, but by the will and work that has been done in this period, during which we have managed to build a new standard and culture of work.
I have special thanks for all RTK workers, journalists, editors, program support staff, production and technical team and all other collaborators, with whom vision of one RTKte Public we converted into a joint mission whose life story proved impossible.
I believe in the professionalism of RTK workers who have been able to protect it on even less good days, the goal that I believe continues to be carried on by the current director, Shkumbi Ahmetxekaj.
Being open to any decision, I will continue to engage in finalising it, in each role, empowering confidence in the Public Broadcaster and combating prejudices, which could conceal dangerous agendas for media functioning and democracy development in the country.
This decision of mine does not mean surrender, but refusing to co-exist in the same middle, where it dominates the tendency to violate another's dignity, in exchange for taking refuge in certain RTK leadership persons.
Goodbye on other projects.
