In its Twitter account, the senior official has announced the European Commission “will not recognise Russian illegal referenda in Ukraine”, while indicating a response of members of the Council of Europe.
The unlawful aborting provided by Putin won't change anything.
All territory is very open-ended by Russia invasions are Ukrainian land and will always be part of this entire nation.

“We strongly oppose and unequivocally condemn the illegal annexation from Russia of the Donnetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizija and Ukraine's Kherson regions. By deliberately undermining international order based on rules and openly violating Ukraine's fundamental rights for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, fundamental principles sanctioned in the UN Charter and international law, Russia is putting global security at risk.
We do not know and will never recognise the illegal referendums Russia has created as a pretext for this further violation of Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, nor their forged and illegal results. We will never recognize this illegal annexation. These decisions are invalid and cannot produce any legal effect. The crime, Kherson, Zaporizhja, Donnetsk and Luhansk are Ukraine. We call on all international states and organisations to unequivocally reject this illegal annexation.
In the face of Russia's aggression and the recent escalation of Moscow, the European Union stands firm with Ukraine and its people. We are steadfast in supporting our territorial integrity and sovereignty in Ukraine. Ukraine is exercising its legitimate right to defend against Russian aggression to regain full control of its territory and has the right to release occupied territories within its internationally recognised borders. The nuclear threats made by the Kremlin, military mobilization and the strategy to falsely present Ukraine's territory as Russia's and the claim that war can now take place on Russia's territory will not shake our resolve.
We will strengthen our restrictive measures against Russia's illegal actions. They will further increase pressure on Russia to end its struggle of aggression. We reiterate that the European Union stands firm with Ukraine and will continue to provide strong economic, military, social and financial support to Ukraine as long as it needs”, said in response.
