The period of reregistering cars with license plates issued by Serbia, used in northern Kosovo ( KM, PR, PZ, etc., has started on September 1st and will last until October 31st.
“It is important that sufficient time be given to implement this plan and that it be prepared and applied in close consultation with citizens affected by the decision, in line with good European practices”, said a European Commission spokesman, broadcast Reuters.

The spokesman said the European Union calls on the “both sides to use the EU-brokered dialogue as a platform to address and resolve all open issues between them... including issues involving car license plates”.
