In November last year, a Kosovo citizen had stabbed his wife 16 times more in Innsbruck, Austria. At the regional court of this Landy, the 60-year-old was charged with having a debate with his wife (v.j. Fifty-year-old from Albania in their apartment, he grabbed a kitchen knife and shot it, causing some wounds, from which the wounded failed to survive, writes albinfo.at.
The defendant has admitted to the crime. He said in court that the dispute had begun when his wife tried to force him to eat soup in the morning. In addition, his wife had spoken ill of his daughter from her previous marriage. This had moved Kosovo to lose control and stab its mate.
The legal doctor, Walter Rabl, says the accused after the act was committed had walked out of the old town of Innsbruck, while leaving his wife injured in the apartment. Because of her lack of immediate help, she has passed away. After an hour and a half, Kosovo returns to the residential building and rings the neighbour's bell. He reported it on the case and asked him to call the police, reports Austrian media.
Judge Helga Moser has explained in her decision that the excessive brutality of the act - the long-standing stab, the flight from the scene, and the failure of help to save the wounded - have been a serious reason for serving a life sentence.
However, the judgment is not final right now.
