United Education Union Chairman Nundman Jasharaj has said during yesterday the strike will continue, despite the new package presented by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who is expected to support the entire public sector by 50 euros.
The chief unionist has indicated that the government's decision to separate public officials from 50 euros is unacceptable and that they are seeking dialogue.
Jasharaj said all past governments have had open doors for dialogue with SBASK, but they don't have it in relation to the Kurti II government.
We have requested something that is small for our country, 100 euros. This 100-euro has come on our way to fight for the salary law, which they delayed, late and late. Dear colleagues, we didn't leave the door, we didn't let anyone who recognized him, we begged him to go into dialogue, because I know that you and we don't want the strike. But since there's no door left open... you know we did the strike, that one hour strike. But the government didn't want to... and it came out just to show that I knew what I wanted, didn't start anybody, and it came out with that 50 euros. Which is a lot that isn't properly addressed, and there's a lot we don't need. We for charity and pity pray to the ametics 20 euros to the salary of” said Jasharaj during yesterday.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has given no signals for “, pe”.
With a status in the evening hours, the head of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari, at the same time MP in the Kosovo Assembly, has described the strike of education unionists as “the most harmful process of society”.
Kusari, by means of a post on Facebook, said such a strike is not resistance to the Government, seeking the start of learning.
The SBASK's “resistance against the Government, it's in the works of society's most harmful process, keeping children away from schools and school teaching”, she writes.
Anyone who tries to convince public opinion that there is reasoning about this action, not only is it seriously wrong, but it also creates unstable facts that every day and more are losing the logic of action”, her post concludes.
Prime Minister Kurti himself days ago has criticised the SBASK, calling their demands <x0 irrational and absurd”>.
