At today's session, the lawyer demanded that his client not be extradited to Turkey, arguing that life is at stake there.
The defence attorney claimed that most of the people who received money from the youth have received the sums.
Saltonade Boss Faruk Fatih Ozer, who had been on the run since one year from Turkey, has been suspected of hiding in our country since then. The 28-year-old Turkish man was arrested in Himara three days ago.
It is learned that the young man had a Turkish company in which he invited various businessmen to invest in crypto-dollars and then disappeared, receiving benefits exceeding $20m.
Police reported that the youth is charged with criminal acts “The creation of the criminal organisation” and “Deception with grave consequences”.
Two other persons -- a resident in Tirana and one in Durres -- were also accompanied to clarify their procedural position in relation to the declared internationally sought person.
