The Kosovo Communist Association held an emergency meeting, as the Finance Ministry did not execute wages for the public sector.
Ferizaj's chairman, Agim Aliu, said that as mayors, they have expected the government to enable the lesson to begin on September 1st, but that it has lacked communication and dialogue.
From today, from here we appeal that all roads be found to develop dialogue between Government and BSPK, in order to unlock the situation and strike to end, and that all institutions return to their normality and work”, Aliu said.
The chairman of Drenas, Ramiz Ladrovci, also spoke at the meeting, who said that those responsible for non-execution of wages should be indicted.
“must sue for the responsibilities that have not been executed wages. The government will not dare not execute wages, because we have not submitted lists to Government, nor have we been asked to hand over lists”, Ludrovci said.
However, Ladrovci said they have told the government that they cannot submit the lists, as the official making the lists himself is on strike.
Lipjan Mayor Imri Ahmeti said his message and his colleagues should be that the Government and BSPK should sit down as soon as possible and find a solution to the situation. /Klan Kosova/
