Deputy head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Vlora Citaku said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after seeing the drastic decline in the diaspora in the polls, today offended fellow countrymen, calling them illiterate.
Albin Kurti saw the same surveys from the diaspora we've seen. So he insulted our fellow countrymen in the diaspora today as illiterate. Even the PDK has had a drop in the diaspora in previous elections, but we've never offended and humiliated our fellow countrymen”, Citaku wrote on her Facebook page.
She said Albin Kurt only saw the diaspora as a vote that he only uses when he needs it and then abandons it.
Our party founders have conceived their activity to free Kosovo in the diaspora, among our countrymen. Therefore, by respecting the diaspora, we have respected our history. No matter how the diaspora vote. Because we do not view the diaspora as a vote, but as a national asset. Albin has only seen the diaspora as the vote he uses only when he needs it and then abandons it. Thus, we condemn the prime minister's deignive and humiliating language against our fellow countrymen”, Citaku said. “Albin, I have adjusted the lives of diaspora families in Kosovo! Stop insulting those in Kosovo and those in the diaspora! ”, she said.
