The ministry issued this order yesterday along with a fine for the technology company, which had sold smartphones without filling since IPhonne 12.
The announcement comes as Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 14 today, but the Ministry of Justice and Public Security argued that the sale of telephones without fillings is estimated as an incomplete “sale of the product”.
In a release distributed on its website, the Justice Ministry announced that the “division of iPhones without battery fillings has been suspended along the country's territory”.
The decision to suspend the iPhone sales came after the National Secretariat for Consumers opened a case in December last year, when Apple was indicted for selling telephones without filling. /Periscopi/
