Analyst: Lajcak with German, French advisers, new phase in dialogue

The arrival of the European Union's special minister for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, accompanied by two newly appointed advisers -- one from Germany and the other from France, from political analysts in Pristina -- is seen as increasing pressure on Kosovo and Serbia. All of this, to end the trouble between the two countries and reach final agreements. They even estimate that the country's institutions should view their arrival as a moment of creating a national cohesion in order to become a detailed preparation for dialogue.
Political analyst Blerim Burjani, in statement for RTKlive, estimates that the pressure has already begun to increase towards the Kosovo and Serbian parties, as he estimates, the idea is for the parties to reach a comprehensive agreement by the end of this year. According to him, however impossible it sounds, the voices are growing -- pro-complete solution -- both from the US and the EU.
“Escobar has greatly influenced this direction, last time, but I believe that by the end of the year, a transitional Kosovo solution will be proposed, so not complete. The idea is to quickly move towards final solution”, Buryan says.
He also explains that the options of a final document will be discussed, since, as expressed, some basic elements as transitionary will be drawn up at this stage to have a comprehensively agreed agreement by the end of this year, though he acknowledges it is difficult to reach.
So I think how the first crossing stage should draw up elements of a final agreement, then step by step take the final form”, Burjani says.
As the emissary and other advisers come to Kosovo, according to him, diplomatic forms have been reinforced to make solutions.
“With this case, a serious phase of the international community, the US and the EU has started or even Slovenia has appointed a special emissary, and with it they are getting together to find a permanent solution”, Burjan says.
Meanwhile, the other political analyst, Dorajet Imer, says Lajcak's arrival is reconfirming the intensifying of the European Union's efforts to produce a new moment that would be favourable to keep the negotiation process active.
His presence in Kosovo, along with two French-German advisers, confirms among other things that the European Union, France and Germany in particular, the United States, but Great Britain is interested in having peace and stability in Europe and in the Balkans”, says Imer for RTKlive.
“
He says the Government of Kosovo and the country's institutions should see as a moment where the establishment of national cohesion, detailed preparation for dialogue through which Kosovo's political and constitutional order is preserved are obligations that await the country.
This Friday, September 9th, Kosovo-Serbia dialogue mediator Miroslav Lajcak will again be for talks in Pristina and Belgrade, but this time accompanied by the two foreign advisers of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
