In connection with the case, wrote journalist Idro Seferi, who has announced that none of them are seriously injured but were taken to visit by emergency doctors.
“The eight activists from Albania of the LGBT community have been attacked by a return from Euro Pride 2022. Activists from Tirana were without a police escort to their hotel. Two of them were badly injured and just taken for a visit by emergency doctors. Activists aren't hurt hard, but they have a headache, and it's been moments, man. Police have arrived at the scene. All activists are fine. They've been attacked by a group of 10 radical people after the end of the walk and concerts at the Euro Prix deck that was held throughout the week. Today has been the last day of activities”, he said through a Facebook text.
Dozens of Albanian activists joined on Saturday, September 17th the “EuroPride”, which was held in Serbia, despite the authorities there stopping such an opination.
The same, for Deutsche Welle earlier in the day, have confessed that they felt threatened.
“are the challenges we face in Albania as well, due to continued efforts to reject and consider the rights of the LGBT community as human rights”, Adela Alika from Albania said.
In Belgrade, to participate in the organisation had also gone Agron Rexhepi from Pristina, who said he feels a little more afraid this time.
This is the next time I'm coming to Belgrade, the first time I'm helping a little bit scared. That is because I am Kosovo and because of the public opposition Serb institutions are doing to the parade”, Rexhepi said.
During today, the increased presence of police has been seen on the streets of Belgrade.
As reported The REL was reported during the day for minor incidents, as there were others who opposed the march, both right-wing activists and religious groups.
Serbian institutions have consistently said the march will not be allowed to be maintained.
Activists there criticised Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq, who, although belonging to the LGBT community, has abandoned this community in Serbia and their cause.
Meanwhile, Brnabyq told activists that no one can stop them, as this is their “fundamental right”.
It is noteworthy that EuroPride is organised for promotion of lesbians, homosexuals, bisexuals, transplantors and, each time, is held in a different European city.
