21 years in U.S. September 11 attacks

The United States, but also the whole world, commemorates today the 21st anniversary of the 11 September 2001. The 11 September attacks are a series of co-ordinated terrorist attacks led by the al-Qaeda terrorist group against the United States. Targets of the attack were important buildings in the United States, such as the Twin Towers, where the headquarters of [...] was located.

Objects of the attack were important buildings in the United States, such as the Twin Towers, where the headquarters of the World Trade Organization was located in New York, the Pentagon building, as well as the White House.
The attack on the Twin Towers was carried out on 11 September 2001 by a group of 19, 15 from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt and one from Lebanon.
At first, a kidnapped plane had crashed over the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City, creating a deep crack on the building's face and triggering fire, while 17 minutes later another passenger plane had crashed over the south tower.
About three thousand people were killed in the 9/11 attack.
Among the victims in the Twin Towers were 343 firefighters and 60 policemen. Most of the victims were civilians of 70 different nationalities, including three Albanians.
