US Emisari Gabriel Escobar and EU member Miroslav Lajcak have scheduled a meeting with Serb representatives in northern Mitrovica for the evening, as Serbian medium “Tanjug” reports.
Currently Escobar and Lajcak are in the Government of Kosovo, holding a meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Before going to Kurti's office, the pair remained at the Presidency for a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani.
Lajcak and Escobar also met with opposition party leaders in Pristina. The two are expected to move towards Serbia from Kosovo.
Their visit comes after the failure to reach a license agreement in Brussels and before the implementation of Kosovo Government decisions for license plates and documents with Serbia begins on September 1st.
