The Serbian list has been declared after its chairman Goran Rakiq's meeting with US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier, with whom he has asked the latter to present evidence for his statements that Milan Radojic is involved in illegal activities.
Ambassador Havenier, after the meeting, has said he has announced to the president of the Serbian List, the US's position on government decisions on the introduction of persons with documents to Serbia, as well as on converting plates.
I also used the occasion to remind him of a particular issue, in the context of recent statements. I have to remind people that, from the perspective of the United States, Mr. Milan Radoic, was sanctioned by the United States Treasury on the basis of our information about its links to transnational organised crime and corruption, and I told him that, you know, the United States' view of this individual is already known”, he added.
While the Serbian List in a communiqué has said it completely rejects the US ambassador's statements in Pristina for Milan Radojic's alleged involvement in illegal activities, calling it “paushall”.
Serbia's “List expects such a senior official to present clear evidence of his claims, not paushall assessments. In his statement to the media, the US ambassador has forgotten to mention at that meeting the president of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic, regarding the ambassador's claims, above all, that it is unacceptable to talk about someone in this way, and at the same time about the above-mentioned accusations brought by the American ambassador, no judicial procedure has been launched to prove what Mr. Havener”, said in communique.
According to the same, “Pristina and Ambassador Havener think it is possible to plead guilty without court ruling”.
The “is especially hypocritical when representatives of the international community tell Serbs of the need to respect the Brussels Agreement, while acknowledging that forming the Association of Serbian Communities is impossible nine years after the signing of this agreement, or when they speak of respect for rights and justice, and in the same Kosovo and Metohija does not apply any documents in favour of Serbs, even the act of Constitutional Court”, among other things, in the reaction of the Serbian List.
US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier met with Minister for Kthim and Community on Thursday, once Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq
