In a media communique, The IPK has said that “Operation Point 1 and Point 2 is one of the most successful operations conducted in fighting corruption”.
The IPK has stated that there is evidence that has been delivered to the Special Prosecutor.
There is certainly evidence for this case and the same have been delivered to the Special Prosecutor, as the Criminal Procedure Code predicts. However, the evidence cannot be presented to the Police Union”, says the communique.

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate, referring to the media communiqué that has released the Police Union in the afternoon, states that Operation Point 1 and Point 2 is one of the most successful operations conducted in fighting corruption.
All actions under this investigation have been undertaken according to instructions and full co-ordination of the State Prosecutor, including their own arrests.
There is certainly evidence for this case, and the same have been handed over to the Special Prosecutor, as the Criminal Procedure Code predicts. However, the evidence cannot be presented to the Police Union.
Most of the incriminating actions of the alleged police officials in this case are witnessed more voice and figure. It is the prosecutor's jurisdiction to assess and further decide the continuation of criminal proceedings for each of the suspects in this case.
The IPK, as provided with the Criminal Procedure Code, has given them the opportunity and all suspects in this case have been protected and protected by their lawyers under procedure.
We've been and we're worried about the level of corruption in the police and we're going to increase the intensity of the war against this phenomenon that undermines confidence in our police. We strongly believe that even the Kosovo Police have this goal and support the IPK as it has done so far on this important mission for rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo.
