There have been some news in recent days that negotiations between clubs have advanced for Zanolon, but the latest story shows that the situation was even closer than we knew.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham had reached agreement with Rome last Thursday to get Zanolon on bail for 50m euros.
Zanio was also hired for a 4.5m-euro salary in the season and for the possibility of his working with Antonio Cote at Premier League.
However, Moourinho intervened to block the departure, and Zano was also convinced by the passion he had from fans in Olympia, where the team presented itself as a whole in the pre-sezonal match against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Rome then called the Spurs to inform them that the situation has changed and they would accept only 50m euros, so no borrowing or obligation for purchase.
Nothing's over, since Radio Radio says Tottenham has offered money plus Ndorteen, but even this appears to have been rejected.
The contract for Zanolon could also increase to fivem euros in net seasons plus bonus.
