Mess outside Golden Ball's narrow list for the first time since 2005

The SPG star is not among the stars on the final list that was discovered today (Friday)

Lionel Messey has been left off the narrow Golden Ball list since Paris star Saint-Germain is not among the close list of 30 football players from France Football magazine, which was discovered Friday.

That hasn't happened since 2005, but all the early nominated won this prize seven times.

His team friend, Neymar, is also one of the football players who has failed to make his final list, while former Argentinean rival in La League, Cristiano Ronaldo, is among the 30 players nominated.

Playing the first season outside Barcelona, Messi did not meet standards when it is in question for the goals in his first debut season with the SPG.

He succeeded, however, in doing much assist, after he assisted 14 goals and scored 11 others in his first season in France, which ended with victory of the title of League 1.

With the Nationals, he helped Argentina win Finalissian by marking seven times in 15 matches.

Argentina was first nominated for the Golden Ball in 2005, the first season when it regularly played for Barcelona.

Messy ended up at the top three best players each year, from 2007-2018, winning this award five times during this time.

After failing to win it in 2018, he won the prize in 2019 and in 2021 with the Golden Ball not held in 2020 as a result of the coronary pandemic.
