Kurti government will pay 6,250 euros a month for a cultural worker or 15 salaries of a teacher

6,250 euros per month (six thousand two hundred and fifty) will be paid a senior portfolio manager and senior policy analyst at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at Kurti Government over the next two years. So 150 thousand euros of wages will get one Kurti Government official for two years. [...]
This is being done through a tender that has opened MKRS on August 18th this month, for the commitment of experts on specific issues for services, consultants through deals for special services.
The MKRS has opened tenders for five positions to recruit a consultant for public relations in the field of culture, youth and sports, three consultants (supportive post) for the copyright office and a senior portfolio-Analist policy manager.
The first four will be experts with daily services, while the last one -- the high portfolio manager's for a two-year duration.
The public relations consultant will receive 13 thousand euros within 12 months.
The three copyright consultants will receive from 1958 euros for 15 days, or 130 euros for a working day.
While, the only new MKRS portfolio manager of Kurti Government, within two years, will receive 150,000 euros, or 6,250 euros a month. If this salary of this new government employee Kurti were to be translated into the salaries of other public sector workers, then that would be equivalent to
Fifteen teachers' salaries for a month. We remember that the teacher's salary in Kosovo is 421 euros.
The salary of 6 thousand and 25o euros of the top official of this government is also equivalent to 16 salaries by a Kosovo police officer for a month. We remember that the police salary is 392 euros. While comparing this salary of this official with the doctor's wages in Kosovo, it would likely receive in a month of 10 doctor's salaries, since the general doctor's salary is 615 euros.
Or this salary of this super-paid official of 6,250 per month could be compared to 15 of the nurses' salaries for a month, as the nurse's salary in Kosovo is 425 euros.
While compared to his colleagues in the culture sector where this government official Kurti will be engaged, he will have the salary of 15 National Theatre actors for a month, as their salary is 400 euros.
This tender of the Kurti Government, which has opened on August 18th and will be open by August 31st, is under way at the time when Kosovo unionists have launched mass strikes in the country, demanding their salary increases due to the huge inflation that has engulfed the country and the price of basic products per living.
So far, Kurti Government has not considered their demands, but it has also threatened union workers to leave their jobs. The relevant ministries have requested lists of workers who have become part of strikes for their sanctions in salaries.
