Kurti attacks media in Kosovo: There are those who believe the news with origin from Belgrade rather than from Pristina

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has asked the ministers and party members to follow his example of rarely speaking to the media.

At the party's general Council meeting, Kurti said they would thus show “the correcter of truth”.

“We are witnesses that there is investment in mismanagement and in divisions and confusion of public opinion. There are people and any media channel that have the main interest in believing the news with origin from Belgrade than from Pristina, despite what we are trying to constantly give examples of correctness of truth, while decades of Belgrade comes sensationalism and false news. They echo what the so-called tribal said, then they tell me of my ministers why you're not commenting on what he said, why you're not talking, what you're hiding”, Kurti said.

The prime minister said that any communication he has from now on, “will only be within the state's interest”.

I advise all my subordinates to follow the same principle. We need to put down this sound of the show and comment on the endless comment on everything”, Kurti said.
