This response comes after Prime Minister Kurti's statement that no one can stop Special Unit forces from going north of Kosovo.
“No one can prevent Special Unit forces from going north to Kosovo”, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared in an interview with the medium Al Jazeera, which prompted reactions in Serbia.
The director of so-called Kosovo office in the Serbian government, Petar Petkovic, said Kosovo Police elite unit ROSU, he shouldn't go north.
Petkov, speaking with a threatening language, has said that if NATO does not stop any attempts by this unit to enter the north, then that is what the Serbian people will do.
According to him, the agreement Kosovo signed with NATO in 2013 specifys that Kosovo Police Specials cannot enter the north without the permission of KFOR commander and the four heads of Serb municipalities.
To NATO and KFOR the other day have spoken, even Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Vuciq, said that in the next two days he will send a letter to the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, concerning the announcement from this mission that said it would not allow the barricades to be set up in northern Kosovo.
