Jaka: I don't need the captain's tape at Arsenal, that's why I stayed in this club.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Jaka has insisted that he doesn't need the captain's tape, which was removed nearly three years ago, to be a leader within the “Toopcini team”.

Jaka had been captain of Borussia Montengladbach at the age of 22 and was entrusted with this role at Arsenal by Coach Unai Emery after the 2019/20 season.

But just a few weeks later, his notorious response to fans' mockery after being replaced in the match against Crystal Palace caused him to lose the tape.
