The government is wrapped in Ukrainian flag, Kurti: Ukraine has shown us the value of freedom

The government of the Republic of Kosovo is dressed in the colors of the Ukrainian flag on the day of this state's independence.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti shared photos from the government's appearance, saying Ukraine has shown us the value of freedom rooted in democracy.

Kurti also announced that today the leave of residence has been extended to Ukrainian journalists taking refuge in Kosovo.

Since the beginning of Russia's unprotested war, Ukraine has shown us the value of freedom rooted in democracy. In the solidarity and Independence Day of Ukraine, today we extended our stance to Ukrainian journalists in Kosovo, raised the Ukrainian flag beside that of Kosovo, and painted our Government building”, Kurti wrote on a Twitter post.

Ukraine today marked the 31st anniversary of independence, as it entered the seventh month of war with Russia.
