Giresse: Euro-2024 qualifying dream for Kosovo

Kosovo National coach Alain Gresse in an interview given in France has said the biggest difficulties are the conviction that players who are born outside Kosovo agree to play for him. The Frenchman has said that his aim is to increase the team and bring players closer to strong leagues [...]
And for this mission, it doesn't seem to be easy, because tracking potential players isn't the same for each representative.
Kosovo's <x0);Ekipi is in these races for only six years. In times of war Kosovars have moved through different European countries and their footballers have conducted schools in these countries”, he has said.
Girls here took Shaqiri as an example.
“Sheml Shaqiri, who has chosen Switzerland even though he could play for Kosovo. Finding a player for the National is an important element. Let's get Frankfurt's second goalkeeper (Diant Ramaj, originally from Kosovo, but he plays for Germany's Youth National. Such as he has many. It's easy for them to pick the country's home fan”.
The same experience the Frenchman has had with some African nationals, where many African players have refused to play for their country or their parents.
Such phenomenum has a lot in Africa and is not easy to solve. I once chose a player who was first coming to the country of origin. Raised in France, French culture was returning for the first time to play for the country his parents came from”, Griesse told “Le Quotideen Du Sport”
Giresse says the “qualifications at “Euro-2024” are a dream for Kosovo.
The European Quaalification is still a dream that has to be realized. We expect the lot in October, but I hope we'll be favorites. With Kosovo we must be patient, as in the case of African representatives”, Girese said.
Kosovo will play its last two matches in the League of Nations in September. On September 24th, Kosovo travels to Northern Ireland to Belfast, while on September 27th closed the third edition of the League of Nations with Cyprus in Pristina.
Kosovo has already missed the chance to be first in the group, and what Griesse will do in these two games is play with young players and pick one of them for the Euro-2024 qualifications.
