Barcelona can record all football players with Pique's pay cut

Barcelona is reportedly planning to offer the Spanish a new contract, but with a drastic reduction of its salary.

That's how reporter from “reported COPE”, Victor Navarro. According to him, Pique will sign the new contract as he wants to assist the club in every possible way.

We remember that Barcelona has been presented with some difficulties in registering summer reinforcements, which has forced club officials to ask 35-year-old to accept a salary cut.

Gerard Piques' current contract with Barcelona expires on June 30th, 2024. So the duration of the contract is expected to be the same, but with a drastic wage cut.

The Spanish defender held a meeting with Barcelona officials, including President Joan Laporta last week, where possible wage reductions reportedly were discussed. What remains to be seen now is whether the veteran defender's gesture is enough to help the club reach “Fiir Play<x1 financial>.
