The vehicle seized at Kosovo border, Albania, was reported stolen in Italy

So reports Kosovo Police through a media communique adding that the vehicle is directed by Albanian citizens with initials U. R, year of birth 1992.

“With the date 28.07.2022 around 13:00 -- from Albania to Kosovo -- has come the Albanian Land Rover car, which the Albanian citizen led with the initials U.R., the year of birth 1992. The vehicle is selected for control on the second line. Kosovo police, in co-operation with the FRONTEX Police, who are on a PKK Vermica mission, have become the most detailed verification of the vehicle and after an investigative work and verification carried out, have found that this vehicle was reported stolen in Italy in 2021x1>, said by the PK.

During the car search and the car identification number, it's suspected that the car was reported stolen.

Kosovo police, in co-operation with the FRRONEX Police, who are on a PKK Vermica mission, have become the most detailed verification of the vehicle, and after an investigative work and verification carried out, have resulted in this vehicle being reported stolen in Italy in 2021.

The vehicle documents were then allegedly forged and the same was reregistered in Albania.

The State Prosecutor has been notified about the case near P. Th Prizren, who has ordered that the case and the cars be initiated, be seized.

The subject for investigation is handed over to the autocrime unit for investigation and proceedings to find out.
