Since July 6th, radio therapy equipment in Kosovo has been out of place, with rain rains flooded the basement of the Oncology Clinic.
Although it has not been disclosed when cancer patients can start receiving radio therapy services in Albania, according to the MSH report, Minister Orgetta Manastirliu has said Albania is located near Kosovo.
“Based on continued mutual co-operation, but also on co-operation agreements in the field of health, between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Social Health of the Republic of Albania, we express our maximum commitment to the possibility of treating Kosovo patients in our Radio therapy unit”, it says on paper.
The report reportedly is becoming the joint work plan at the technical level to enable the needs conveyed by Oncology to Kosovo with service opportunities in Tirana, according to priorities set by experts from the two countries and service capacities.
Oncology Clinic in Pristina is the only centre in Kosovo where touch cancer They receive chemotherapy or other treatments.
Within 24 hours, about 400 patients from different cities in Kosovo receive services. /Periscopi/
