Kosovo's Pingpongists have been denied participation in the U21 European Pingpong Championship, which is being held in Belgrade, Serbia.
Despite that Kosovo is a full-fledged member of the ETTU, the Serbian state again denied Kosovo's participation as a full-fledged member.
The Kosovo Pingpong Federation has announced that Serbia has not allowed the entry of Kosovo's youth team. According to the FPP, political interference in sports activities should be condemned.
The Pingpong Federation has called on all local and international sports facilities to take concrete measures to implement the fundamental right of our athletes to participate in all races.
Serbia again denied our participation as an equal member at Serbia's 2250 European Youth Championship, not allowing our young people to be part of the table tennis games. Political interference in the activities of athletes must be condemned. We call on all local and international sports facilities to take concrete measures for the implementation of the fundamental right of our athletes for participation in all competitions”, the FPPS official site says.
