The 37-year-old Portuguese Superstar's decision has been prompted by his desire to play the Champions League for the rest of his career.
Ronaldo has been part of the 19 next season Champions League since leaving Lisbon Sports for English football in the summer of 2003.
The attacker has made 183 presentations in Europe's elite competition, marking 140 goals and adding another 42 assets at the time.
He has never played in the League of Europe, in which the Red Days will be presented this season after spending a sad season which led them to end in sixth place at Premier League.
The Portuguese Repretant believes he has three or four years left, according to The Times.
