Proposed today, physical and technical security workers require a 10% additional salary fee

Physical and technical security workers, who perform services in public health institutions at the country level, have protested in front of hospital directors, the QMF, and the ambulances where they perform services, as a sign of dissatisfaction with their non-recognition of the government's decision to pay 10% of their basic salary. The same workers protested before the administration [...]
The same workers protested before the Central Administration of the Kosovo University Clinical Centre, where the chairman of the Kosovo Private Sector Workers Union, Yusuf Azemi, was present.
Azem said that the government has no alternative but to pay these additional workers. He warned they would radicalise the protest measures if their demands are not taken into account.
He added that physical and technical security workers are part of the support staff even by law.
This government, not for our own sake, but for the sake of the law there is no crying without paying these workers because otherwise in very short time we will see the measures and radicalise. These are some decisions that Pristina's Constitutional Court has initiated, and according to what they say, this is a matter carried out, because we and Kosovo Government have also obtained a document that definitely says supportive workers are security workers and technical workers, so we're actually comfortable being brought up at these big temperatures, but we will respect the hierarchy line, we'll warn and in the following days we'll see how the case is going, he said.
Azem said that instead of Kuri getting to the airport and expecting exiles, it is better to visit physical and technical security workers.
“So please Mr. Prime Minister, we need these workers to be visited to see how they have issues, respect to any exiles who come in, but they come with full pockets and always come in health and they cut their homes well, but yet we are put into loans up to the throat and we cannot stay, the more reasonable it is that he comes to talk to them than with them”, he added.
Meanwhile, KKUK Health Workers Union deputy head Enlirat Duraku said the work of this staff is essential for the University Clinical Centre.
Before the nurse or doctor enters the patient's room first these enter the physical security work, which is in constant contact, especially at the entrance and exit of clinics, and is especially now the largest frequenting of patients infected with COVID-19”, he said.
The protest has ended in calm as it was told it will remain for the government's reaction to understand what future steps will follow.
