“polic injured the cop”, IPK exposes Nuredin Lushtaku: No policemen suspected of the Skenderaj incident

In a written answer to the Express Journal, The IPK says that until this phase of investigations there is no suspected police official, so investigations concerning this incident will continue Kosovo Police.

Kosovo Police Inspectors of the Department of Investigations have been reported on the incident, respectively. After the announcement the same had been released at the site of the prosecution's custody. After consultations with the custody prosecutor, we announce that in this phase the investigation into this incident will continue the Kosovo Police (after that, based on investigative actions and after consultations with the prosecutor, until this phase of investigations there is no suspected police official)”, the IPK's response to the Journal Express is said.

On a proposal for RTV Dukagjini, Nuredin Lushtaku, has today declared he is in the police station and that I will not give details until the police's investigation is complete.

However, according to him, the police have wounded the police.

“It's nothing like that. But the accident happened, trouble happened, I didn't hurt anyone, neither did the brothers hurt him, nor did the boys. The cop shot the cop. Kosovo police have confirmed the injuries of two police officials last night in the late hours in Skenderaj. One policeman has been shot, and the other has been severely injured.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the case, while two others are on the run, police have confirmed.

It is not known which of the people involved in the conflict has surrendered.

Police have been sent to KKUK for medical treatment, while the motive of double injury allegedly concerns the pronunciation of a fine in traffic.

By the date 02.07.2022, around 23:55, it was reported that two police officials were attacked at Skenderaj during one point, one being wounded with firearms on his feet and the other injured by heavy vehicles.

Both police officials are out of danger for life, the same have been sent to KKUK for medical treatment.

To this stage two people have been arrested and two others are on the run by police.

Operations and investigations in co-operation and co-ordination with relevant institutions are being undertaken in the case.
