The trip to the Kosovo capital did not start very pleasantly. With about two hours late, the Antwerp FC landed on Kosovo soil.
Belgian media, GVA reports that Antwerp has paid around 200,000 euros just to travel to Pristina by private jet.
But even a expensive private Boeing 737 is no guarantee of a perfect journey. Such a Boeing is big and heavy. Very heavy (when fuel is fully filled). According to the medium, Boeing was forced to make a stop in Munich to supply fuel.
There they were stopped and supplied with fuel to follow up on their trip to Pristina. Antwerp FC arrived in Pristina at three and a half pm. About two hours later than planned.
A normal flight would take a little over two hours, but it turned into a tiring trip of more than five hours.
