The absent quorum meeting was interrupted after LVV deputies launched the hall, following a clash between MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila and PDK deputy Ferat Shala.
During the long-term interview, Minister Murati considered the separation of means for subsidisation of energy imports necessary in December last year.
He said the 20 million divided for KEK has been legitimate and necessary, following the fall of a B block at KEK.
“Under the functions we have to take the necessary action to ensure that at that time, especially in December, when there was a serious global situation, especially on the European continent energy crisis. Prices were too high, and the other side had a decline in a Kosovo B thermal power block. So it was necessary to support the import to ensure the regular power supply ... so it was a necessary decision to ensure the management of the country's economy and the daily lives of citizens to have electricity supply”, he said.
Asked by MPs, Murati indicated why 90m euros pledged for energy have not been distributed.
The “My devices are not divided is a government commitment, so there is no division. The pledge has been in the framework of discussions and consultations that have been made to the task force and the goal of the Kosovo Government supporting citizens not having affordable tariffs... The amount we have undertaken as the Government of Kosovo is 90m euros for the tax year. This government pledge remains and the government owes no one, as the state continues to stay. The vow has been 90 million, and the vow remains for the Tatar year. The divisions of these are technical issues and methodology defined among acts that agree to implement a methodology, do they have installments, months for months or so? This is a technical issue then”, Murati added.
Following these answers in debate, deputy PDK, Ferat Shala, called it speculating, LVV deputy Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
I have a very difficult right to match speculation and everything else for Mrs. Kusari, so I agree that for speculation this is champion. You're a champion, you're the biggest speculator of this legislature in Parliament”, he said.
MP Kusari-Lila called this label unacceptable and later in sign of riots, along with other LVV deputies, released the meeting.
If we start with labels and categories we release the investigative commission and we don't participate. Mr. Shala, you're an MP's colleague and you're called names and labels are excessive. I said speculation questions, didn't I tell you speculation. I don't ask speculating questions, you do. Sit down. Mr. Shala, you're not a professor of mine, and you're not in a position when you can tell an MP right there or égritute yourself, she said.
After the meeting ended, MP Shala told the media that these are only excuses for the majority to flee responsibility.
This is attempting to evade responsibility. All others cannot be reasoned by peer interventions while we were talking to the minister normally. There is no answer for money, distribution methodology, no response for the consultative report, no answer for the political interference they have made in ZRE”, he said.
And the other MP of PDK, Abelard Tahiri, said Minister Murati was unable to provide concrete answers to any of the deputies' questions.
The minister of finance was unable to answer such questions. We were looking for the expenses of the means and debts Kosovo has in front of energy importers. He told us about methodology and how it will be done. We are seeing there is no readiness for the minister to account for his work”, Tahiri stressed.
This meeting remained to continue another time, when it is put together between the chairman of the commission and Minister Murati.
