Arsenal has announced that Martin Odegaard will be the team's first captain for the new season 2022/23.
The Norwegian midfielder is part of “Topchines” from 2021, including the first season as borrowed from Real Madrid, writes Express.
The 23-year-old has so far recorded 60 presentations with Arsenal, while marking nine goals and adding seven assistias.
Significantly, Odecaard has been a captain of Norway since 2021.
“We are happy to announce that Martin Odegaard has been appointed our new captain of the first team of men.
The 23-year-old has made a huge impact since he arrived at Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid in January 2021, originally in the form of borrowing and played 60 times, marking nine goals.
Odegaard has experience in keeping the tape, since he has been a captain of Norway since March 2021, with which he received 43 presentations.
We wish Martin success as Captain”, says Arsenal's announcement. /
