Driton Kuka has been fully credited with the world's best coach in the Judo sport. This epithet he showed he deserved even further, and this was confirmed by the remarkable successes of the Judo achieved at the Mediterranean Games in Algeria, where the sport received five medals, three of which were gold.
Kukes' extraordinary work has brought Kosovo numerous medals over the years, causing Kosovo's flag to rise above the flags of the world's foreign states, among which many of them were even those that have not yet recognised Kosovo.
But, recently, Kuka has raised a concern that, according to him, is presenting a problem in boosting new talents, Kosova Preris reports.
In a status in “Facebook”, Kuka has said that he already knows the way to taking a sportsman to the European Maya, but that the problem he's facing is that he does not commit young athletes to success.
According to him, injuries, social networks, non-sport life that involves staying late, bottle and alcohol consumption have already become the main obstacle to growth at peak levels.
He has said that such a problem has never existed before.
Here's Driton Kukes' complete writing in “Facebook”:
From the coach's corner...
Judo is continuing with the rise of results in fact new names are emerging, therefore, successes are continuing with a context!
As a coach when I have a talent in my hands I usually know the road to the European, world and Olympic peaks but...
Injuries, social networks, non-sport life that includes staying until late, the oath of even the bottle and consumption of alcohol have already become the main obstacles to growth at peak levels!
A new problem that has not existed in the past is that younger generations are playing for dignified local and people presentations and more for personal and material interests!
That's what's going on right now.
Other generation, different mentality.
