LAST LAST LATER: Florim Zuka resigns as president of Gjilan

Zuka has announced his immediate resignation through a post on Facebook, writes Periscope.

According to him, this decision is due to the failure to achieve goals with Gjilan, which was the Superleague champion's proclamation.

Honored citizens of Gjilan, football guides to Kosovo and beyond,

At the beginning of 2017, we managed the Sc Gjilan Football Club. Since the first moment I've committed the club to a sustainable administrative structure, and I've taken full care that there's no problem in the financial field.

For the past five and a half years, we have invested a large amount of financial means, all of family wealth, bringing to Club players we thought we could achieve the shared goals of Sc Gjilan moving to among the most successful clubs in Kosovo.

Although we have created a satisfying organization and stability where for this period of time twice we have secured participation in European competitions, we still have to admit that we haven't achieved the final goal, which has been the Champion's title.

In view of the results achieved, we consider that this has not been enough and therefore since the release of this announcement offers irrevocable resignations from the position of Sc Gjilan Club Chairman. At the same time, the actual leadership is closed along with me.

We invite all the sportsmen, donors, Communist Institute representatives, and every other interested person to contribute to the creation of a new leadership so that Sc Gjilan can move forward towards the common goal, the Champion's title.
