This announcement comes as Russia has targeted the Odessa and Mikolaev regions with air strikes on 26 July, hitting private buildings and other infrastructure.
Although in some photos of Russian separatist media, it has been said to be viewed as mercenaries of the private Wagner military group before the thermal power plant, this Russian claim has not been independently proven.
Ukraine's General Staff has not mentioned the thermal power plant in its daily report, but has said there has been fierce fighting in a nearby village.
According to Staff, Ukrainian troops have prevented fighting along the front line in the Donjeck and Harkiv regions on 26 July.
Hours after the attacks, Kiril Stremousov, deputy chairman of the military-civilian administration of the Herson region, has said that the Odessa and Mikolative regions will be “cted” by Russian forces.
The Ukrainian Army, on the other hand, has said it has dropped a Russian threat and is trying to attack a radar station in the Mikolaiv region.
As a result of Russian bombings in the last 24 hours, at least three civilians have been killed and eight others injured, the Ukrainian president's office said on 26 July.
According to her, the bombings have continued across the front line in the Donjeck region, as Russian forces have targeted the town of Bakmut and other cities.
German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht has said Ukraine has accepted several missile launchers and several obus from Germany.
She made those statements a day after Ukraine accepted German air defence tanks.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
He calls the war <x0 special military operation” to demilitarise Ukraine.
The West has responded to Russia, striking the economy of this state with severe sanctions.
