Telegrafi reported on Monday that an internationally recognised football player in his 20s was arrested in London and reportedly without raping a woman during June, writes Periscopi.
The player, whose name cannot be mentioned for legal reasons, was arrested at an address in Barnett on Monday.
Premier League's star has been released on bail until August after spending about 30 hours in custody, questioning three alleged attacks, according to the latest update of The Telegraph.
In a updated statement, Scotland Yard said: “on July 4th, a charge of raping a woman in her late 20s was reported to police.
“reported that the alleged rape occurred in June 2022. On 4 July, a 29-year-old was arrested at an address in Barnett on suspicion of rape and was sent to custody.
“While in custody, he was further arrested on suspicion of two rape incidents allegedly committed in April and June 2021 against another woman in her late 20s.
It was later released on bail until an indefinite date in August. Investigations into the circumstances are continuing”, the announcement says.
