Bahtiri has said they are now being treated at the North Mitrovica Regional Hospital.
“Situate in the north is tense because of the notorious Serbian criminal groups learned from Belgrade. Members of these Serb groups in masks have banned a Kosovo family who was going to Switzerland, beating them out of their car. These citizens are being treated at the Mitrovica hospital, which I just visited and fortunately their health condition is stable.”, he wrote.
He has also called on Serbs not to join criminal groups in the north, and has called on institutions to implement the Constitution and the laws.
I invite Serbian citizens of the Republic of Kosovo not to join criminal groups in the north and contribute to calming the situation. The Republic of Kosovo is an independent and sovereign state, and no one can violate its security and territorial integrity. Kosovo institutions are binding on memory for implementation of the Constitution in every inch of the terrorist”, he concluded.
