In the video, the woman is seen going down to a well without rope or protective equipment to get to the water.
People in the village of Ghusiya have been forced to take such extreme measures as wells and ponds have dried up, writes BBC, broadcast Express newspaper.
Other areas throughout India are facing similar water crises.
Videos showing Indians risking their lives to get water often become viral. In April a similar video showed a woman going down a well in Maharashtra State to get water.
