Valmir Veliu after moving to Turkey: I want to be an example for Kosovo youth

The Turkish club announced today the agreement with the 22-year-old, which has signed a 3-year contract.

After formalising this transfer, Veliu through a post in his account at “Facebook” has thanked all those who helped him on his way to becoming a professional football player.

Dear family, friends and friends

I want to announce from today my football career will continue in Turkey at the Gazianteppor football club.

I want to thank God first, then my family and the people who were there for all these years.

I thank the football school “Liridoni” where I started my first steps.

I thank the two trainers of this Bahri Osmani and noble Thaqi school for their unbroken work, their continued support, and above all the constant motivation to never give up on the many difficulties.

Thank you also for your many past trainings and late hours.

The dream of playing at the high levels with the city club I was born in, the city that opened my path to the Kosovo National Inquisition, which is to me an honor and pride that is not described in words.
