Messy was used mainly on the right side of the SPG attack under the direction of Maurizio Pochettino. He made 43 presentations, scored 11 goals added 15 assets.
“Foot Mercato” reported that the 34-year-old could be used as a number “108x3> in next season, after Pochetino is expected to be replaced by French coach Christophe Galtier.
Galtier reportedly will apply the 3-5-2 formation to the PSG and the Messi in this formation will be used as “-0> ”, behind the attackers.
Formation 3-5-2 was used by Pochetino only once last season, with Kylian Mbarppen and Angel Di Marian playing in the centre of the attack. The SPG won that 3:0 match against the ANgers, but that formation was no longer used.
