U n D SERVING IRI: Will Kosovo get even a thick document to fill out as the task for visas

Guide? Do you remember that appointment? Cecilia Malmstrom? It was 2012, when Mrs. Malmstrom as EU commissioner at the time had handed over to Kosovo the Guide for visa liberalisation. In Kosovo opinion, this document was celebrated, viewing it as one of the final bridges we had to pass to [...] visas.
Ten years later, last night, we heard the word U.S. Guide again and said anything about visa liberalisation.
EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhely stated yesterday that a new leader for Kosovo is needed in order to meet more conditions for corruption and smuggling.
Varhely said Kosovo is waiting for visa liberalisation and that it must move ahead with the issue.
He said there are several areas, such as fighting organised crime, anti-trafficking and asylum demands, where member “states need clear results”.
In these difficult times and in the context of geopolitical changes, our priority remains the Western Balkans”, Varhely said.
We are willing to help Kosovo, together with member states, establish a guide to address specific concerns. Members' authorities, rule and law agencies, police forces need to engage on the ground to help Kosovo. In turn, we are willing to give Kosovo all the financial, technical and political assistance for this process”, he added.
Kosovo is the only country in the Western Balkans that does not enjoy visa liberalisation with the EU.
The Kosovo government says it has met any criteria of a total of 95 that it has placed the EU on the road map for liberalisation.
However, the process has been constantly hampered by several EU member states, especially France, which has expressed reservations about the free movement of Kosovars.
As for dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, Varhely said the two countries should prove clear commitment in performing tasks.
REAGATIONS:
The Netherlands' former ambassador to Kosovo, Robert Bosch, has called the Commissioner for Enlargement's statement, Oliver Varhelyi, to be presented as a new guide for visa liberalisation.
“Although Kosovo meets all conditions according to the EU commission, this man comes with more requirements we have never made for all countries that have received visa freedom in recent years. I really don't know how to achieve justice for Kosovo. Like Congress EP as well as i The PEP in Rotterdam recently demanded that it finally be applied, and then this nonsense of Warhely” is heard, he wrote.
Former Kosovo foreign affairs minister's task officer, Petrit Selimi, EU Commissioner for Neighborship and Enlargement Oliver Verhely has rejected the warning, for an additional guide for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
In his account at “ter”, he wrote that if that is true, then the EU is on the verge of adopting open racist policy.
“Four years after Kosovo met 100% of the longest visa liberalisation guide Oliver Varhely declares a new leader for Kosovo to meet more conditions for corruption and smuggling. If this is true, let it be not wrong: EU is now on the verge of adopting racist open policy”, wrote Selimi in Titter.
“The EU had no problem adopting visa liberalisation with Mexico, Honduras, or even Venezuela and Maduro. Kosovo is the most pro-EU country in the Western Balkans, less corrupt and is not high placed on any list of asylum seekers for years“, writes Selimi. /Periscope
