Raphael close to the transfer of Arsenal

Raphael is about to sign with Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen the team for the next season, while the Brazilian attacker is one of the club's top priorities.

“Goal” reported today that Raphael is very close to joining the club from London. The player reportedly hopes to close the deal this week.

Based on their sources, “Goal” also reported that Leeds United knows nothing about Barcelona, a club that reportedly was interested in player services.

The Catalonas club reportedly does not financially afford to transfer the 25-year-old. This situation has been exploited by Arsenal and the London club is expected to finalise the agreement this week. Even Renne's former football player reportedly does not want to wait any longer.

Earlier it was reported that Leeds United requires 50m euros for the sale of Raphael, the price expected to be already paid by “Toopchiat”.
