Pochetino wants a full salary from SPG in case it is downloaded

Argentina seeking full financial compensation in case of leaving club

Paris Saint-Germain and Maurizio Pochetino are expected to split the streets this summer.

The Ligue 1 champions have decided a few weeks ago that they want to change the coach, but before they call in the new coach, they have to fire the Argentinian manager.

Goal has been able to confirm that the two sides are in talks on a evacuation package that would free the former coach of Tottenham and allow the club to appoint their new coach.

The PSG is in an effort during talks with Pochettino to lower the 15m euros they're supposed to give him in case of the contract break.

However, the 50-year-old is asking the French team to get all this amount they owe him.

As part of the 15m-euro salary, threem euros are believed to go towards the coach's support staff.

Among them is his assistant Jesus Perez, goalie coach Tony Jimenez, Miguel Dégostino and his son, the Sebastian physics coach.

Pochetino is insisting that he and all his staff take a lot that SPG owes them.

Talks between the parties are going well, but Pochetttino's demands are right after he signed the contract in January 2021 when they hired him instead of Thomas Tuchel.

Negotiations are under way, but they don't expect to continue any longer than when the French team is ready to call their new coach.
