She says how she never before received support from all leaders for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
Today, at the joint meeting between the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans, a declarative support has been given by a number of leaders, of course, in all respects. First of all, the overwhelming majority have been declared pros in terms of visa liberalisation. In the second row, most have generally supported Kosovo's European perspective, which gives them a good signal after we apply for candidate status, and thirdly, Kosovo is grateful for its decision to join the European Union and co-ordinate the EU on sanctions against Russia.
The forum where it is voted for visa liberalisation.. This is just political statements, and I want to say that for the first time, we've heard supportive statements from some states that in the past have been reluctant and positive signals have been given, but the decision is not made in that form. From what we heard today, we have hope that the leaders who were there will push it forward as soon as possible.
No single state was declared against, we need a vote and move forward with a decision. We have given all our arguments, Kosovo has done its job. Now it is up to the EU to act”, Osmani said
