Organising the Olympics is a tremendous financial cost to countries.
The Olympics and the Olympics in Tokyo, held in 2021, with a year's delay due to pandemic, cost Japan double the projected value.
Although it envisioned investing 5 billion euros, the verification of expenditures confirmed the salt bill paid for the event. Japan's cost of the 2020 Olympics amounted to approximately 10 billion euros.
The meeting was made by the International Olympic Committee, following financial verification presented at the executive meeting. The attention will now focus on the exploitation of plants performed for the Olympics, as well as promoting other sports events in the Japanese capital.
Only in this way would extraordinary financial strain be justified in creating plants. According to official statistics, a new turnout record is set in Tokyo 2020, with 11,420 athletes in the summer Games and a primat of 4,403 athletes in Paralympida.
At the event in Japan, the negative impact was pandemic. Due to the lack of spectators in the Tribuna but also from limited tourist measures, the loss is estimated at 630m euros.
