According to The Athletic, nothing has been signed with the player, but personal conditions have been achieved.
However, Liverpool will have to reach an agreement with Benfakan, which could cost 80m euros plus an additional 20m euros.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be a great fan of Nunez, who scored 34 goals in 41 presentations for Benfica this past season.
